Alive… and kicking… mostly

Hello all!

Sorry for the extremely long delay in posts here – this is one of my longer hiatus’ (while I’m actually on the move). Unfortunately my bad eating habits, frequent weather changes and frequent travel finally caught up to me again with a nasty little bout of the flu which kept me in bed for three days, and moving very, very slowly the rest of the time.

As a result I’ve missed out on a bunch of Ireland that I really wanted to see, though I did finally make it out yesterday to see the Cliffs of Moher (while doubling over in pain on the way back!).

So not much to tell you, certainly nothing you’re terribly interested in knowing. I am very grateful that my cousin Chere got me a hotel as a little birthday gift, though I wasn’t able to enjoy it for the traditional reasons, it really wouldn’t have been fun to be in a hostel while sick, so it was much more comfy anyway.

But yeah… today is my last day in Ireland. I’m catching a bus right now from Galway to Dublin airport, got an 8:50pm flight from Dublin to London. I was originally planning on going to Scotland, however oddly enough it seems all the hostels are completely booked up there for the weekend. Quite odd. So London it is – good luck booking up everything THERE! I really love London, so I’m looking forward to it, and from there I’ll probably take a train out to visit Scotland.

And then last but not least, I’ve still got to hit up Iceland before home.

So there is your update and “I’m alive” from me. Talk to you later!
